Well, apparently, Jim responds rather well to steroids. Not only do they fix his shoulder, but they keep him up all night too. He says he's never done that before but he did it last night. The steroids were part of the rather complicated rabbit potion. I expected swelling, some intestinal discomfort, but didn't think about him getting buzzed.
He felt great and was full of good humor. We enjoyed a brisk 8 laps around the East and West wings of the 6th floor- that equals one mile. We watched the parrots dashing around the trees that you overlook from the lobby (why were they all going east to west? do they go west to east in the evenings?), and then I headed home to accept delivery of washing machine number 2 (don't ask).
Tomorrow, the 3rd night of chemo and the 2nd round of rabbit juice. Getting closer to the 14th and transplant.
