Today John Grusd stopped by and dropped off the movie Gran Prix with James Garner. Oh, happy boy! Good in-room entertainment for sure. MJ, can you see the pink box of the Pink Panther DVD's in the cupboard under the TV? They've been great too, thanks again.
The effects of the chemotherapy are still in progress. Today Jim's white blood counts were down to 0.1. Can't go much lower! Nothing unexpected- the chemo keeps working in the system for some time after the last dose is administered. So, keeping the white cells down while the new stem cells are still finding their way around Jim's body is a good thing.
Some of the other expected effects of chemo are not in evidence- Jim has all his hair and has not experienced any nausea. We'll be just as happy to not see nausea, thank you much.
Otherwise, the Man is feeling pretty chipper, relaxed and happy. I am proud of him.

Um just have to say "ugh" to the lovely icing on mashed potatoes imagery. If chemo didn't make Jim nauseous, that still could. Hugs to you both, nonetheless.
